TAHARAH
(WUDU’ & TAYAMMUM) 

WUDU’ (ABLUTION)

- Before we can perform salah we need to prepare ourselves mentally, physically, and spiritually.
- It is a purification process that every Muslim must perform before their prayer can beperformed.
- Our beloved Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: “No salah is accepted without wudu(purification)” -Sahih Muslim, Book 2, Hadith 2
- Wuduk in Arabic comes from (وضةاءٌٌََََََ ) which means al-hasan which is goodness and an-nazofah
(cleanliness)

TAYAMMUM


CONDITIONS FOR
THE ACCEPTANCE


1. Being Muslim (Islam)
2. Puberty (Baligh)
3. Being of sound mind (Berakal)
4. Entering Prayer Time (Yakin masuk waktu)
5. Facing the qiblah (Menghadap kiblat)
6. Covering the Aurah (Menutup aurat)
7. Purity from Najis (Suci drpd najis)
8. Purity from Hadas(Suci drpd hadas kecil & besar)


PILLARS OF SALAH
(QALBI, QAULI, FI'LI)

1. Stand up for those who can.
2. Niat.
3. Takbiratul Ihram. 
4. Read Surah Al-Fatihah. 
5. Bow with hope. 
6. Iktidal with hope. 
7. Prostrate with hope. 
8. Sitting between two prostrations, with hope. 
9. Sit the final Tasyahhud.
10. Reading the Final Tasyahhud recitation.
11. Salutations to Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him in the FinalTasyahhud.
12. Greetings first.

NAWAFII PRAYERS

• Muslims also offer additional Rak‘at of Prayer apart from Fard and Sunnat Rak‘at.
These are called Nawafil Prayers.

• These are optional Prayers. Nawafil Prayers are as follows:
        1. Eight Rak‘at of Tahajjud.
        2. Two Rak‘at after the two Rak‘at of Sunnat at the end of Zuhr Prayer.
        3. Four Rak‘at before Fard of ‘Asr Prayer.
        4. Two Rak‘at after the two Rak‘at of Sunnat in Maghrib Prayer.

PRAYER DURING ILLNESS

1. Prayer while sitting
2. Lying on your side prayer
3. Praying lying up
4. Praying by doing the signs of the eyelids
5. Prayer by remembering in the heart
