WEEK 2 : REASONS AND SOURCES OF HIKMAH FROM IBADAH

   بِسْـــــــــمِ اَللّهِ الرّحْمن الرّحيم

Reasons and Sources of Hikmah from Ibadah :

 Salah صلاة

Surah Al-'Ankabut (29:45)

In this verse, Allah swt ordered the Messenger of Allah, peace and
blessings be upon him:
i- to read and follow what was revealed to him.
ii- to establish prayer and explain its goals and objectives.
iii- remembering Allah swt has greater benefits and effects.

 Fasting صَوم

Surah Al-Baqarah (2:183)

1. Allah declares that fasting has been made obligatory on you as it has
been made obligatory on those before you.
2.The purpose & objective of this fast is for you to become a person who
fears God.

 Zakat زكاة 

Surah At-Tawbah (9:103)

Types of Zakat :
- Zakat Fitrah (Al-Fitr)
- Zakat from earnings (Al-Mal)

 Haji حاجّ 

Surah Al-Baqarah (2:197)

Starting from Shawwal until dawn on the morning of 10th of Zulhijjah.

HADITH :

From Abu Hurairah RA, he said he heard the
Messenger of God SAW say, "Whoever performs
Hajj, and he does not commit negligence and
does not commit sins, i.e. big or small sins but
repeatedly, then he will return from his Hajj as on
the day he born by his mother, which means
there is no sin in him at all." (Muttafaq \'alaih)
